I not only mixed the Lori Williams Sextet concert, but also recorded it. After the show, I was asked to handle both the recording and the mix. One of the leading US jazz vocalists was presenting her new album, making this a great opportunity to connect live and studio engineering and bring the concert into the studio for mixing.
